Customizable Baked Oats

The most delicious baked oats made your way!

I crave this dish every week. The little girls I nanny could eat It for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (honestly, so could I LOL!)


So y'all. I have been blessed with the most delicious baked oats recipe. The family I nanny for gave it to me; It was too good to pass up. This recipe is no ordinary recipe, It was passed through from a family member so you know Its good.


The best part? We made this recipe multiple different ways. That's how good this is. Don't you just love making something different ways so you can try out all different kinds of flavors? You can customize It to however you like It!!! This super easy to make recipe is a must add to your favorites!


Customizable Baked Oats



Ingredients you'll need

  • 4 cups oatmeal (not instant)

  • 1 1/2 cup milk (can use coconut milk)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 3 tsp. baking powder

  • 2/3 cup oil

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup pecans (optional)

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (optional)(regular or powdered)

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds (optional)

To make a different variation, substitute bananas and pecans with 1 cup diced apples and 1/2 cup dried cranberries


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9"x13" pan

  2. In a large bowl mash bananas then mix together rest of ingredients

  3. Bake for 30 minutes. remove from oven and let warm. Serve mixed with milk (can use coconut milk) and brown sugar to liking.
